Speaker at the AWS Summit, Amsterdam, Netherlands

On May 27th, 2026, I was privileged to speak at the AWS Summit event in Amsterdam. Primary materials included talking about Booking.com’s in-house developed ML inference distributed systems with global scale. The session was fully booked with ~400 people attending. The format itself was really interesting: attendants were given headphones and they listened in a “silent disco” fashion as there were parallel sessions running right next to us. Special highlight was that a bunch of colleagues were present too, which made me feel a lot more confident. And of course I am grateful for AWS team for helping with making this talk happen, specifically Mirabela Dan.
